The Virginia Huguenot Society held its Spring Meeting on March 27, 2021, at the Salisbury Country Club in Midlothian, VA.
The meetings are always too short as we are a most congenial group, always with a lot of
"catching up" to do. We had a good turnout, the meal was very good with three choices for the entree,
and service at the Club was exceptional.
Our speaker, Blake William Delaplane, is a lawyer with a firm in Northern Virginia, and a graduate of UVA Law School. His talk was titled, “Chasing History from Coast to Coast: How One Boy’s Genealogical Exploration Changed the Trajectory of His Life.” The talk was very personal and inspiring. The audience was attentive and appreciative of his comments.
